I have read the a lot of people don't like him and he seems like a bit of a loudmouth. What has he done around the locals?

Seems to rubbed the sniper hide type crowd the wrong way.

I bought a q full Nelson ‘cause no one likes him. 😂
I'm behind the times on Snipers Hide, I guess, and I'm probably not missing anything. He got [bleep] with a local veteran non-profit (guys I know, one who I have a lot of respect for) recently. They do A TON for our local vets and that didn't sit well with me.

I can put aside my "professional" side regarding his history since I don't know all the facts, but it certainly doesn't help.

CZ 527 mini Mauser action in 223. Barrel cut to 17" with a Specwar 556K suppressor, and put in a Bell and Carlson stock. That stock has an aluminum bedding block in it that extends up into the forend, so I drilled and tapped it for an ARCA plate. Sometimes it wears an old original Vortex Viper 4-12, sometimes I put my Thermion XQ-50 on it for night calling. Very light, compact, accurate rifle. Too bad CZ lost their mind and quit making them several years ago. You can still find them, but at double the price they were when new.

Back before I knew better I thought something bigger than the .224 bore stuff was needed for an all around handy ranch gun so I rebarreled this 700 to 7TCU. It doesn’t kill pigs or deer or coyotes any more or less dead than anything else. But it’s handy, low recoil, cheap to feed, and one of my most accurate rifles, so that keeps it from getting a new barrel. I think I’ll thread it soon and start using it more. 20” K&P SS tube. Action didn’t have a bolt when I swapped for it so I fitted a PT&G and welded a Dakota style handle on it.

A pair of Model 7 Predators, 223 and 22-250. These are my favorites. The other rifle is a 243 that I sometimes carry just for a change. The bottom rifle is a 243 LVSF that's been restocked.
