Damn. The drone operators better have a good exit plan if their side loses. Videos like that could get your ass strung up from a lamp post at some point in the future, if things don't go your side's way.

Makes me want to take a close look at my shotguns. A couple of 12 gauge pumps with 18 or 20 inch barrels and threaded for chokes could be handy.

There have to be signals to be detected and tracked.
The Nazis did excellent work tracking radios signals, hunting Partisans.

Do we have Counter Drone capability, that mirrors the radar counter artillery.

Or like Wild Weasels?
Use the signals they use against you to kill them.

If not, we need to be moving that way fast.

I started a thread a month or so ago stating that shotguns would be the best defense against these drones. Seems that idea is catching on.

Don't know much about drones, but I have a Blue Dot, 3 3/4 dram 1 1/4 oz. of number 5's load that's just devastating to anything within range of an IC, & especially a LM choke.
Totally trusting my 870's here for 45 years, but realize autos getting more dependable all the time & I highly trust an M1 Benelli. And it doesn't need both hands to operate most of the time. Hint

I’d probably load hardened 5 shot. IC choke. Keep a few heavy, buffered loads for the far stuff.

8's would take down hobby drones. I don't know about the strength of military grade drones so magnum 4's just in case.

Not to rain on any parade, but looking a bit closer at the manner of dress of the person being pursued and the body language, might it be possible that the person in that picture was a woman, maybe even a civilian, maybe even a Ukrainian who might have been checking out an abandoned Russian tank?

The statute of limitations is over on this. I watched a Winchester AA 7.5 crush a giant Canada during dove season that was 25 yards above us. No doubt that drone would suffer a similar fate.

There are hundreds of videos of simple, civilian type drones dropping simple munitions on soldiers. The drone in this video is what they call an FPV or “kamikaze” drone. Many many videos of these as well, and they all seem to have some Norwegia-rigged triggering device on them. This is a crazy world we’re living in and that video is very real.
