Yea that old rotten hay smells like the end result of a cow eating it!!!! Nasty, I have cleaned many a stall on the farm.

If people knew what I did back when MD's had those early cheap ones, they would have protested too. As a youth I worked at a local packing house in the summer that made their burgers and I ran one of the patty machines. Ten burgers to a pound of burned out milk cow burger and I think that the pickle was about as thick as those burgers. I still remember the shop foreman coming by and seeing the tub of burger that we were grinding and saying, "That's too good for McDonald's, put some more suet in there and run it through again."
