I have a few local pawn shops where I've sometimes found some good deals of guns. Stopped in one yesterday and they had a like new Remington 700 22-250 ADL with the RR prefix. It had that piece of junk scope that Remington put on them as part of a package deal, which adds absolutely nothing to the value. I could have walked out of there with it for $400, and at one time I would have bought it, and then sold it on GB. I don't have a use for it now whatsoever, but am just curious as to what the "experts" on here would say the value is.

I agree it's a pretty good price, but I have one rifle in 22-250, and I have zero need for another one. I may have to rethink it.

I`d buy it just for the action, being any 700, LA or SA, is selling here for over $700, and build something I wanted. The rifle may also be on consignment, you might be able to knock that number down to 350. Did that with my last SA 700, ADL. Had the store Mgr. take it apart, and as I`d thought, found rust in and on the Mag. box. Asking price droped fast.

Good Luck.

Actually the RR prefix Remingtons built during the old Remington Arms existence often shoot quite well. That $400 rifle might outshoot your current 22-250.

You know the old saying, “Don’t shoot the donor.”

Here in Colorado that rifle sitting on the gun rack would be priced twice as much.

My RR-prefix ADL IN 308 shot lights out with cheap factory ammo. $400 is a steal if you like the cartridge. Blued ones are going for $550 and stainless guns are very hard to find right now.
