I ordered 1 keg of in stock powder on the 19th. As of 8pm on the 24th it has still not shipped. Had I known this I would have ordered somewhere else as everyone had this powder. Graf's was just a few bucks cheaper (and I do mean a few) so I thought I'd try them. WTH takes 5+ days to get it out the door if it says in stock?

For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Just tossing this out there.

Is it possible it shipped but was never marked as shipped?

What time Friday? If late enough it probably wouldn't have gotten out of there until Tuesday or maybe even today with the ice covered roads we had in the area on Monday that had everything locked down tight.

Maybe buzz em tomorrow and see what the deal may be as well.

This is on their home page, so I guess they are.

Orders with Hazmat may be delayed 3-5 business days.

They've done the same to me. They are great people to work with so a couple extra days on shipping has never left me butthurt. I'd bet it won't be too much longer.

I wouldn't call it butt hurt so much as annoyed. I was hoping to do some loading with it this weekend but I guess not at this point. I still want to know why it takes 5 days to ship hazmat. It's a couple extra stickers and a MSDS for Christ sake.

It might be the weather in their part of the country plus I think they can only put so much hazmat on one ups or fedex truck. Those two things might have combined to slow things down.

I don’t recall Graf’s being particularly slow in the past.

Firearm and handloading suppliers really have the ball in their court.

They have more demand than they can supply. So there is no reason for them to hurry and be quicker.. because they are ALL in the same boat.

If someone cancels their order because it wasn't received fast enough, they have a couple of dozen people behind them that will take it and NOT complain about it.

Order on a Friday and I bet the soonest it would ship would be Monday. Hard to count Saturday and Sunday in that part of 5 days, doubt the warehouse is open on weekends like the storefront is. 2 separate operations.

Yessir! What he said. We've been doing business with Graf's since the 60's. Not always the cheapest, but good, honest folks to deal with.

I usually look to them first when ordering. They aren't too much North of here and it has been snowy and freezing rain there. UPS has been behind here. My wife just got a delivery of a package that was supposed to be delivered 3 days earlier. Very well could be a weather issue.

I placed an order with Grafs on the 19th, and it shipped yesterday. They seem to keep in the 3-5 day range to ship. That has been my experience for what it's worth.

I guess it could be worse, the 338 Federal brass I ordered 12+ months ago showed up two days ago. I had forgot about the backorder with Starline until I received an email last week.

I guess I never understood the urgency for orders shipping and arriving?

A million thing can happen to an order. It ideally doesnt.
I placed an order for 2k of 9mm at the beginning of the great ammo shortage. It was in stock, money paid, order confirmed. Then the shipping delays started. By the time I was notified that I wasn't getting the order it was too late to buy anyplace else. I think they saw what was happening and sat on the ammo.
I am apprehensive about ordering items that are in short supply.

I should have also said that it was not Graff"s. And I do not buy from Sportmens Guide anymore.

Graf's is among the first companies I look at when needing something, as they often have stuff other companies don't, at decent prices.

But usually don't order stuff from ANY on-line source that I need very soon. There are too many variables from producer to distributor to shipping company these days. Oh, and weather!

Buy stuff from as far west as possible like California. It’s flown in. I get stuff faster when l order from or get stuff from RCBS.
