I received this in a trade. While I really like it, my addiction to Mannlicher Schönauer rifles keeps me unhappy with non MS rifles.
I never owned one and really felt a strong desire to own a commercial Mauser thinking it would satiate my desire for a Rigby.
This is a very trim rifle, impressive.
I'm guessing that those who will be interested absolutely know more than I do and those who would need iformation specifically, I likely don't have the answers.
The rifle appears to my knowledge correct with the obvious exception of the added recoil pad.
LOP is 13.5" to the inside curve of the trigger.
The trigger breaks crisp at 3# definitively every time.
I punched and inspected the bore with an electronic scope and it's very crisp. I don't think makers today have the capacity to create a rifle like this.
Obvious defects are the blue loss on the cap and Floorplate and the Crack in the grip cap.
Including a period correct Weaver K1 El Paso true 1X ( 1st gen LPVO, son) and rings.
