Mostly watch documentaries these days. Most anything else isn't our thing. Movies just almost all suck these days but I digress.
Watched Muscle Shoals on prime the other night. That was good. Watched Amorian? last night about raising a Russian sub in the 70s by the CIA. Took 6 years to prep for that. Watched a bit on Easy company.
The documetary type stuff just is way more interesting to us than fiction stuff these days.
You Tube has quite a few too and we follow a few on there. Simple Living Alaska is one. They are always learning but kinda cool to watch as they learn. There is the one guy in Canada, My Simple Life. Talk about mostly relaxing. He is always building something. Rare for him to talk, though he spoke more in the last ones we have seen than before. But just silence. Music and watching him create something or film outdoors is just cool and relaxing.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
This thread is getting very long so I don't know if this one has already been mentioned.
This one is on Netflix. In fact, IIRC, it was the very first show of Netflix Original programming.
Lilyhammer
Lilyhammer is a crime comedy-drama television series starring Steven Van Zandt about a former New York–based gangster named Frank "The Fixer" Tagliano trying to start a new life in isolated Lillehammer, Norway. The first season premiered on Norwegian NRK1 on 25 January 2012 with a record audience of 998,000 viewers (one fifth of Norway's population), and premiered on Netflix in North America on 6 February 2012, with all eight episodes available in full for streaming on the service. Lilyhammer was promoted as "the first time Netflix offered exclusive content".
The spelling of the series title alludes to Tagliano's dog Lily, killed in the first episode during an attempt on Tagliano's life, and the way that Tagliano and some other anglophones pronounce the town's name. The series produced three seasons; the final episode aired 17 December 2014. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilyhammer

Payback, free on Prime, starring Mel Gibson. Highly recommended.
Oddly, although James Coburn had a pretty solid role which he performed admirably, you won't find him listed as a cast member. He's uncredited. Can't find out why.
Watched 999 last night. Good and bloody reminder to stay out of Atlanta.
IF you can stomach Ken Burns, the PBS Documentary channel has a damned good 2 part docu on the American Buffalo. A LOT of information I'd never seen before. Well worth the free trial. There's some American shaming, duhh.

Watched Griselda on Netflix last night. Pretty good.
Watched the first 3 episodes last night. Pretty good so far!
Did not realize that it was Sofía Vergara playing the lead till the 2nd episode. She looks pretty good for 51. 😬

Was I the only one slightly under-whelmed by Napoleon ?
Still haven’t watched it yet. That idiot Joaquin Phoenix pretty much ruins any movie he’s in. No talent hack.
