I vaguely remember hearing this when I was about 16. I'd completely forgotten about it until I heard a replay of Americas top 40 from this date in 1974 on the radio this morning. It was # 26 in 1974

Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.
I was 9 years old in 1974 and dont think ive ever heard that recording till just now.we were definitely proud Americans back in that time and still am today.
