Nonetheless, it was a good game. Christian McCaffrey looked like he was in pain from landing on his head after that run down to around the 2 yd line. Hope he's OK. Great athlete.

His Dad Ed was part of The Broncos back to back Superbowl wins.

Now I remember! Thought I remembered that name.

24-7 at the half and Detroit loses. Had to be half the nation rooting for the lions with as long as its been since they won anything! How sad.
I think the Lions coach learned some things today. He did a good job getting them there. He made some mistakes in today's game, but they'll be back. They've got a good team.

Gonna be a lot of Butt Hurt if Mahomes leads the Chiefs to another SB win in two weeks.
Mahomes just plays big in big games. That game a couple years ago when he was all busted up and stayed in and they won it really said something about him.
Yep. If he stays healthy, heβll break all of Bradyβs records, too.
No, he wonβt.
+1
Not even close.
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.
Will be interesting to see now if what Detroit built is real or if it was a 1 year wonder.
They're likely to lose their OC to the Redskins as their new HC. Now they're picking in the end of rounds instead of at the start and they have to play a 1st or 2nd place schedule. Do that 5 years in a row - then you're actually built for something. If they go back to a 6-11 record then 9-8 etc, they're not exactly "there" yet.

I was pulling for the Lions (something rarely done for fans of a team in the same division). And by the end, I was happy they lost - because they deserved to lose.
But good for Brock Purdy - 24-year old kid that no one had expectations for, now playing in the Superbowl. And he was clutch again yesterday when it mattered - it's what winners do. If one can't get behind that underdog story, well, there's lesser hope for humanity.
Remember the thread when you dumb fuggs had the fix in for Ravens 9ers?
LOL
People with a Clue have realized for some time you're too stupid to realize the Mafia can easily fix the narrative when too many people start getting a clue as to what they are doing.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out you use your clout to put false info out to put the dumbasses like you off the trail.

In my opinion it was more about execution or lack thereof on the Lions part and less about play calling by Dan Gamble. Reynolds dropped 4th and 2 pass was a very catchable ball. He dropped another late in the 3rd. Add in the fumble by Gibbs. Those plays out weighed the gambles on play calling.
