You guys have fat chicks in camp and you didn’t invite LBP? Come on man…😀

Have a great time Paul and I look forward to the pictures of meat stacked high.

The wind just picked up out of the south. Blowing my scent straight toward the food plot. It’s about 3/4 mile of trails and dirt roads back to the truck. I’ll probably bail early from this location and tiptoe back to the truck

You didn't check the wind direction, Brother Paul?

Yes Mr. Cantore, I did. But as you well know, wind can and often does shift ahead of frontal boundaries. I also checked the weather radar. As often happens ahead of a frontal boundary, rain cells often pop up. I am in one of those now.

You didn’t check the weather forecast, Brother Paul.

Hope you sneak up on a dink anyway, Brother.

Trying to explain wind and weather to a retard that is always indoors is an exercise in futility. They can’t understand that wind swirls and changes or that weather is not entirely predictable.

It’s dead calm and has been for about 30 minutes. That anomalous blow was short lived.

Got any pics of the fat chick?

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

You know he does, but he's gotta photoshop himself out of the pic before he can post.

Let's talk about that Paul luck for which I am renowned. While I was gone I got a text from Laurie asking if I could talk. I called. As she was sitting at her computer, our cat who had been lounging right beside her, let out a loud scream as if in pain. The cat thrashed about confused and continued moaning in pain.

Backing up a bit, we got the cat for my stepdaughter 12 years ago. I didn't want a cat. I don't really like them. But, I wanted even less to be the bad stepdad, so I relented. In true cat fashion, the cat hated everyone in the world but me and it was obsessed with me. It made a ritual of coming to me wherever I was and head butting me until I rubbed her, and I'd have to rub her until she was done.

The cat had spontaneously lost use of everything from mid back rearward and was in extreme pain. The short of it is that Laurie had to have Cat put to sleep. I wish I could have been there to have undertaken that burden.

The look on Cat's face when she was getting the rub she demanded.

As previously mentioned, we saw zero deer in 2 days of hunting. A few does showed up on camera during the day, but we saw nothing. No bucks detected by camera at all for the full 60 hours we were in the area. On queue, today:
