Don't have a German. Have a heeler, but he is shedding like it's spring time right now. And he's an inside boy, so the poor wife been really busy keeping up

She does shed year around, but the last 48 hours has gone turbo shedding.

There were 12 Canadian Geese on the (seen from the house ) lake yesterday morning. I think the signs are here . I welcome Spring .

Best buddy in GA has a big black bastard (a GS dog).
He sheds like crazy. Kinda scares me a little too.

He sheds like crazy. Kinda scares me a little too. He should. They’re some ferocious dogs left unhinged. But they are easily family attached. Hint

She's between molts (mostly) right now, tho.

My shepherd mix generates hair like it’s her job. Time of year is irrelevant. They call them German shedders for a reason.

I am a part-time caretaker for my neighbor's sled dog while she is out of state. Mostly take her for walks in the afternoon while the renter (other caretaker) is at work. Brushed the dog in the garsge a few days ago, as she had big clumps of hair hanging out all over. It looked like I had exploded her in there!
It was not appreciated either : "I was leaving her unbrushed for warmth!"
Good deeds ......bah! Humbug!

My English Setter only sheds twice a year. Once in January for six months and again in July for six months.

I miss my larger dogs, at least it somewhat made sense.
