1st off not a fan of any vp candidate whose parents are foreign nationals that wipes out nookie. Allready seen all the blacks in the oval office I need to see wipes Scott. Don't even need to look at any candidate who took demo money in the primary. DeSantis, nookie, vivek any of them. Any that the dems approve of are fugging losers as you all will recall they only support repub candidates they know the dem candidate will beat .( McCain) picked by the msm turds and sold to rinos. Who does that leave noem, lake, burgum, stefanik who else quality candidates are in short supply? Mb

Vivek..a bulldog. Someone that can speak painful truths and isn't afraid of negative media. If Trump is serious about saving America, Vivek is far and away the man of the hour, more so than Trump himself. He knows there is nothing left but to tear it all the way down to the ground, pre FDR, although pre 1913 should be the goal. Or I been fooled again...One major benefit of war with Iran would be the self destruction of Israel. With AIPAC gone, Congress will be flapping gums not knowing what to say.

Just a couple of my thoughts that I think are based on reality and comments already made thus far...
1. The "fire majority is not going to elect anyone they in general support with just our own votes!
2. A candidate has to first get elected otherwise everything else is kind of meaningless... to the winner goes the spoils (insert ability to attempt to effect meaningful change!)
3. A "minority" party has to attract voters from the "majority" or other sources... women?, independents?, minorities? disgruntled/disaffected Americans?, seniors?, young voters? Everyone at some level are "selfish" and have motives for their voting. Some are understandable, some are short sighted/based on ignorance, and some obviously are flat out sinister!!! Persuasion based on sound goals, "fact" and consistent performance can are needed to earn at least some of these "votes"! The result is a "broad tent" necessary win the spoils!!! The extremes on EITHER side don't understand this and never will. Those votes cannot be touched from either side either... too stubborn/stupid?
4. The shift in the Country's direction will be slow, painful, and INCREMENTAL, even if we win the spoils at election. The "Deep State", bureaucracy, big $$$, and other sources of power and control will see to that!!! Saw it last time. Count on it again... I'd bet everything on that one!
5. Trump is getting older despite his apparent vitality and energy. That could change in a moment as mentioned by others. A younger, qualified VP is important, both for this reason and #3! A "sound" VP needs to be able to support Trump and his policies for at least 4 years anyway. Trump, for his part, needs to select a candidate that he trusts and will listen to at least at some level to strengthen that allegiance through the criticism and tough times. If the Trump administration makes good policy decisions for the middle class(essential!!!) which ideally should represent the "masses" and the voters recognize this as "fact", the VP can take it to the next level and tweak things to make them even better, (more MAGA if you like. That is how it should work, IMHO... naive I know.
6. Trump has my vote now regardless who he selects as VP. This applies to most of us. The other side is that bad for the long term survival of the Country as we know it. The reality is no longer democratic republic vs socialism but rather "imperfect" democratic republic with "proponents of socialism/communism" vs full on communism!!! Even relatively new immigrants see this! To not vote is just accelerating the move to authoritarianism and asinine...
7. If Haley was the nominee due to the effort of "Never Trumpers", RINOS, and some in the "establishment", I would still vote for her as the "decline" would be slowed vs now. Haley's biggest crime is being beholden to big $$$ and some in the establishment. Republicans have voted this way in the past... most of us have, but have not learned OR "partake" in some way of similar ideologies of the same and will not admit it!
If I could choose the ideal candidate, it would be a "clone" of TDR packaged in a intelligent, moderate, loyal, "patient" brown female body, raised east of the Rockies. Don't know that such an animal exists, however! I think that would be the "lure in the water" that would attract the most fish and satisfy/support many of my observations of the reality of the times. I'll take a shift in direction for that first step as a monumental win.
Interesting that a few other glaring names have not been mentioned in almost 10 pages. Our "boxes" can be pretty small, hence Trump's comments and teases. Good poker strategy they tell me... I selfishly hope so.

No such thing as a democratic republic. Move on you are the problem Fine. Educate me then What would you like to call it? I never said perfect. There is no such thing, IMHO. No such thing as "absolute" freedoms either. No one election will turn our problems around, just maybe change momentum and direction. This I hope for. Did you vote for Mitt? I did and would again given the choices at the time in the presidential. Give me Trump every time in that one. "Fighting the good fight and losing" is worthless at this point in time. Time to win and be smart, "play the game" at some level necessary. Being nice has nothing to do with it other than not driving voters away when you are in a "minority" party. Not winning is no longer an option from my viewpoint. "Kicking the can down the road" is not the answer either... someones got to dish out a little "bad medicine" rather than just garnering votes to lead people to their fates so to speak. Too many Americans on both sides are too "soft", perhaps most of us. How many of our leaders today understand what is on the line like some of the Founding Fathers did in their time given their "diversity" which pales to the lack of homogeneity that exists today almost 250 years into the experiment. The latter is a fact!

In ‘16 I was hoping for him and Cruz on the ticket together. He did great with Mike Pence!😟 Phuqing traitor!🤬 I’d really love Tucker Carlson. I won’t change my support of Trump, but this time I wanna see some freaking indictments, and some people doing the perp walk in orange jumpsuits. The penalty for treason is death! I hereby submit my name for any future firing squad! Reon
