The House voted mostly along party lines, but Republicans suffered a number of defections which torpedoed the vote. Four Republicans ultimately voted no:
Rep. Tom Clintock, R-Calif.,
Ken Buck, R-Colo.,
Mike Gallagher, R-Wis.,
Blake Moore, R-Utah, who switched his vote at the last minute in a procedural move to be able to bring the resolution back to the floor.

I don't understand why wasting time with impeachment. Even if approved in the house all it does is require a hearing on the house floor. The Senate votes on impeachment and you have to get 2/3 yes votes to remove anyone. Ain't gonna happen. We're paying these folks $174,000 a year, they have better things to do.
Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.
