BluMtn Campfire Regular B Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 2,071	I can remember growing up during elk hunting season we would gather on a ridge and start a fire, eat lunch and listen to Paul Harvey. If Paul said it you knew that it was true. I have mentioned in other threads that a friend of mine that had a business back in the late 70's wanted to have Mr. Harvey do a plug for him on his radio show. He and his partner flew back to Chicago and had lunch with Mr. Harvey and pitched their product and when they got done he looked at them and said that their product was very nice but his policy was if he did not personally use it he could not endorse it. My friend said he was probably the nicest person he had ever visited with, very genuine. Writing from the gateway to the great BluMtns in southeastern Washington. Just remember, "You are the trailer park and I am the tornado". Beth Dutton, Yellowstone.

Set the alarm the first evening expecting a pleasant musical awakening and in the morning at full volume someone screamed "stand by for news" right in my ear." I went from a sound sleep to vertical in about 1/2 second. Subsequently, the alarm was reset to 5 minutes before the hour with the volume lowered substantially. 1Minute
