watching people "react" to things. But, this girl is downright captivating. A Russian girl reacting to American things for the first time. Pumpkin pie, Harry Potter jelly beans, music, movies. Whether is BS or not, damn, she is easy on the eyes. And that accent. Somehow, one of her videos came up as a suggestion. Been watching them for about an hour now.
' There are several reaction channels that I watch regularly on YouTube. I mainly watch movie / TV show and music reaction channels. Mostly movie reaction channels.
Older guys like me (I was born in 1954) sometimes fail to realize that there are lots of movies and music that younger people may not have heard of or be aware of. Things we older folks take for granted as just part of our lives are completely new to many younger people. They've just never been exposed to much of it. I find it fun to watch these younger people discover things from the past; especially movies.
Here's a few of my favorite movie reaction channels that I subscribe to. And, yeah, they all happen to be women. I like the ladies.
Here's one from the Popcorn In Bed channel (Cassie and her sister Carly). Tom Cruise and his director (producer?), Christopher McQuarrie, were on location in Africa. They happened to watch one of Popcorn In Bed's reaction videos. Tom was so impressed that he made sure Paramount Pictures invited Cassie and Carly to the premiere of his new movie in New York City. You'll see them meet Tom starting at about 14:15 in the video. When Tom sees them, he lights up with a HUGE smile.

An over anxious emotional train wreck. When you watch retards you become retarded.........
I like this chick, she's very technical, knowledgeable, and drills down onto why the greats of rock and roll are greats of rock and roll. Lol, she's a professional opera singer that loves rock and roll!
Until her I used to think of Meatloaf as just an out of shape fat sweaty slob on stage, Now I understand why Meatloaf always sweated excessively, it's because he used every muscle in his body to sing and put on his show, Lol, he was probably in better shape than most.

I've watched a few of black people reacting to Tom MacDonald videos. Most seem to find his music more unifying than dividing. The left likes to call him a racist so it's interesting to hear blacks often say he's just speaking the truth.
Rarely watch, but did see one where a UK lady was touring the southwest and she attended her first rodeo. Mutton busting was the real kick for her. That and how polite everyone was.

I assume it is a way to get around copyright laws.
Not really. When it comes to the movie reaction channels, they don't show the entire movie. And, if the reactor shows too much of a movie, then they will get a copyright strike from YouTube. Then the reactor will have to re-edit their reaction video.
Many of the movie reactors also have a Patreon channel which is a subscription service (a few bucks per month). They will release their complete reaction video on Patreon so you can watch the entire movie with their reaction. BUT you have to have your own copy of the movie to sync with their reaction. Now, your copy can be purchased or rented (whether a physical copy or streaming).
The movie reactors actually make most of their money from their Patreon accounts and many will also have an online store where they sell some merchandise related to their YouTube channel. (Yeah, they have fans.) Some also have business sponsors that the reactor will do a commercial for in their reaction video.
So, as an example, let's say you have a YouTube movie reaction channel with 50,000 subscribers on YouTube. Of that number, you have 2,000 that subscribe to your Patreon account at $3 per month. Well, that's $6,000 per month income, before taxes and fees of course.
Patreon
Patreon is a monetization platform operated by Patreon, Inc., that provides business tools for content creators to run a subscription service and sell digital products. It helps creators and artists earn a recurring income by providing rewards and perks to its subscribers. Patreon charges a commission of 9 to 12 percent of creators' monthly income, in addition to payment processing fees.
Patreon is used by YouTube videographers, webcomic artists, writers, podcasters, musicians, adult content creators, and other categories of creators who post regularly online. It allows artists to receive funding directly from its fans, or patrons, on a recurring basis or per work of art. The company is based in San Francisco.
One of my favorite movie reaction YouTube channels is Popcorn In Bed. She has 369,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel. She has over 500 movie reaction videos posted to her YouTube channel. I don't know how many paying subscribers she has to her Patreon account but she seems to be doing fairly well.

I cant stand this bitch. Seriously, she wont STFU! React AFTER watching the damn thing. There are channels that do just that. But due to copyright issues she doesnt. How the hell others get away with it then? Screw her and any others that gotta stop every 2 seconds and tell us their emotions.

Well, she has 1.57 MILLION subscribers to her YouTube channel. I'd bet she doesn't give a crap about your opinion.

"Tribal People Try" food is pretty good. Some of the reactions are funny.
It'd be interesting to see the reaction of non-actors.
As a rule I no longer watch these types of videos. Put in a lot of time on the music side of them, and its just overly emotional actress wannabes looking for clicks.
To each his own, but I'd rather kill time jugglin my ball sack.

YouTube is great for “How To” videos. 99% of the rest is garbage.

I have seen her do a few Queensryche reactions and those were interesting
Bad, but not as bad as unboxing videos where they only take the item from the box and tell you what the items are but don't test it or use it in anyway. Totally worthless.
