Colored like this .
Was on way home from work and saw a brown doe to the left of the road and standing besides it was one that had Snow White nicely distributed over its body wit some large patches of brown and very dark black
I’ve seen them brown and white and solid white , but never with black mixed in
They were some pretty significant patches of black and brown
Didn’t think about snagging a picture , was just in awe of what I saw and focused on getting home

Yeah , some type , but never saw one marked with three colors , and never black
It was an eye catcher , if it don’t stay away from the road it’ll be on somebodies wall .
Wasn’t more than twenty five yds off the road and in a area known for road hunters

Probably. I’ve seen a number of Piebalds, a couple albinos, and there was a pure black, I guess, melanistic doe close by Penny’s house. Only saw it once. Could’ve been a trick of the light, but neither of us thought so.
Deer are funny critters. From over 50 years of hunting, I think I’m entitled to say this.
What I do know about them would fill a thimble. What I don’t know would fill a warehouse.

Seen some with pretty cool white patches. But, never a 3-color.

Not far off the road in an area known for poachers? Hmmm. If I were an enterprising nature cop I would expect a poacher to find such an animal too hard to pass up. Decoy?
