The crap hits the fan! Would you rather have a box of 500 rounds of 9mm hollow points or 1000 round box of target ammo?

A 380 in my pocket is better than a 45 in my truck!

Violence may not be the best option... but it's still an option.

Why would one have to cut back to such low numbers?

If you can hit what you are shooting at I would rather have expanding bullets so I could shoot once and move to the next threat.

When someone talks about SHTF, I have to ask...

Do you mean IT HASN'T HIT THE FAN YET? Sure seems like its already hit the fan listening to the news on a daily basis.

With all the illegals that have been let into this nation by the DemocRATS, I'd say we have sleeper cells, from multiple nations, scattered from sea to shining sea in this country. At the drop of the hat, they are ready to spring into action in a guerrilla warfare scenario within our borders. Its only a matter of time and when....

anyone who doubts that, isn't paying attention or having their eye on the ball...

Its like the Children's story of the " Kings New Clothes".. most of the public is blind to the most obvious....

Many groups want to carve up and destroy this nation, because we stand in the way of their objectives. And here an entire political party sets the stage and holds the gates open for them, greeting them with the RED CARPET treatment.

If?

I think you meant When...

If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

When it hits, you need a rifle. The handgun is to help you get to the rifle.

In a SHTF scenario, You only need enough ammo to get more ammo.

Do you know why many World War I pilots carried a handgun? Because they would rather end it quickly than burn to death. (They didn't have parachutes.)

If the crap really hit the fan, why even try to survive and live a miserable life in horrible conditions?

Just food for thought... Pleasant dreams.

Because if you're prepared and have 1/2 a brain about you - the existence isn't horrible. It might not be what you have today but it's a far cry from "burning alive".

I disagree. I guess it depends upon one's definition of how bad things get when the chit hits the fan. The first thing that comes to my mind is nuclear war.

It wouldn't have to be anything as drastic as a nuclear war.
