That means a DC jury knew that Mann’s reputation was already garbage and Steyn couldn’t make it worse, but Steyn is a rich conservative and Mann’s feelz were hurt, so they gave him $M kiss. The amount won’t stand up to appeal based on SCOTUS precedent limiting punitive damages to 10x actual damages.

Unbelievable verdict. Mann filed in DC federal court because the jury pool is dominated by Leftists. Did anyone listen to Steyn's closing argument? Absolutely brilliant. He hit it out of the park.

Disagreement is now defamation. Denial of accusations by the accused is now slander against the accuser irrespective of the truth. The sexual orientation of the accused——only matters if they are straight
The socio-economic status of the accuser——the lower in S/E status the more likely they are to prevail
