I saw a buck knife yesterday that was a 110 folder but it was a push button automatic and had a candy stripe handle. The handle was candy red with small white stripes . I thought I had seen them all but never one like that. It had sit so long somewhere that all the brass had dulled but it looked never used/sharpen? How much would it be worth and what year you guess buck made it? Most custom buck 110 automatics I ever looked at were 150.00 up and that's been back in like 2005 prices. Have any you guys had a candy stripe handle automatic Buck 110? Would you polish the brass if you bought it or would it hurt the value?

Thanks will do. The old shop also had a 664 Alpha hunter stag limited Chuck Buck signature knife came in a small glass top walnut case asking price 400. I did not know Buck made a Bowie knife either until I looked on the posted above website. I would like to see one in person big-time. My favorite Buck knife story is the year 1985 I bought a new 110 that was so sharp I quartered /skinned and processed 5 deer and 1 big wild boar with it in that same deer season before I need to get out the Arkansas stone and touch up the edge a little! I have been hooked on Buck knives ever since . To say that knife held a edge is a understatement!

How much would it cost /time for the work it takes to make a custom auto buck knife?

I know but back in 1991 they were all custom made. There is a lot of work involved to make one from scratch and time is costly for highly skilled bladesmith labor and materials. I don't know very many custom folder knife makers. Tony Bose & David Yellow Horse
