Bought a used Glock 36 .45 ACP about a month ago and was able to get out and shoot it yesterday. It’s a little spicy with 230 FMJs, but on 4”-10” steel plates out to 25 yards, accuracy appears to be good and it shoots close to the sights. No malfunctions of any kind. I’m impressed.

Mine is the most accurate Glock I have ever owned. IMHO it's the best officer's size 45 ever made.

It seemed pretty “on” shooting steel last weekend. This Saturday I will shoot groups on paper to check elevation and then order steel sights of the correct height and order a couple more magazines.

I shot the Glock 36 .45 ACP on paper today to check elevation with 230 FMJ and high-performance JHP self-defense loads of different weights. All shots at 20 yards. Shot standard pressure S&B 230 FMJs and Sierra 185 Outdoor Master JHPs. I also shot Speer Gold Dot +P 200gr and Federal HST +P 230s. Everything grouped very acceptably but the star was the Speer Gold Dots that grouped at about 2” for 5 shots. All that said, everything grouped a bit high. Tonight I ordered a new recoil spring, 2x OEM mags, a 3.5lb trigger connector that will result in a 4-4.5lb trigger pull, and OEM steel sights that will lower POI 2”-3”. Life is good.

If I recall, Glock site pictures vary. Some are 6 o’clock some are spot on.
Some helpful gent on here posted a picture sometime ago.

Some helpful gent on here posted a picture sometime ago. Good stuff. With this pistol point of impact is about 3” above point of aim. With my G22 POI was about 6” above POA. Expat
