I`m looking for a 2"-2.25" 357.
Much prefer the combat sights of the K6S and the SDR.

The new kid on the block.

I`m partial to the Kimber K6S.

Exposed hammer would be a no-go for defensive pocket. If you can bob it fine. What does that weigh?
Alloy Jframes are amazing and if I thought a 6 shot made all the diff, I would take one of the new 32 H&Rs. Being familiar with the cartridge, I’ve been waiting for a long time for them to come back.

The kimber to me is bit smaller…closer to a j frame. I didn’t realized diamondback was making a revolver. Looks decent but by the video it looks close to a k frame

It should be out to dealers in the 2nd qtr this year from what I`ve read
It`s 2 oz (21 oz) lighter than the comparable Kimber, and accepts J frame grips.
The only detractor to me on the SDR is the polished finish.

If I thought my defensive needs would be met by a pocket carry revolver, my choice would be a J frame. I would much prefer a reliable, mature and proven design from a legacy manufacturer to anything else. I might get something else to play with extensively until I became comfortable with the reliability and durability.

If I thought 6 round capacity was a big advantage over 5 I wouldn’t be carrying a little revolver at all, I’d be carrying what I carry every day, a little 9mm with 11 rounds available.

I have a S&W M19 snubby that I like very much. I also have a bobbed hammer for it.

I will definitely go with the Kimber. I have two K6S revolvers with about 500 .357 and 300 or so 38 sp rounds through each. They are accurate, controllable and really nice looking. They are slightly bigger than a J frame Smith. Their triggers can't be beat. The 3" DASA model carries extremely well. I recommend shooting one if you can get your hands on it.

I’ve had the same experience with my K6S’s
Changed the grips on my 3”DASA to the kimber K6 combat grips and it’s currently my favorite revolver.

They are nice grips!
My 4' Target came with combat grips, my used 3" also came with combat grips and the original checkered grips.

I went with a S&W Model 60 357 from the classifieds.
