Windage cap, doesn’t affect usage. Duplex reticle.
Butler Creek flip up caps included. S prefix

Regular cross hair, not duplex. J prefix. Ring marks.
$200 shipped.

Both scopes have been checked out by Leupold and given a clean bill of health.

Just a question for future reference if you don't mind. What does the S prefix mean or compare to with other yrs or models of the Leupold 2-7?

Prefix or suffix and letter indicate the year of manufacture. A quick google search will explain better.
