I remember how that works. Seattle 2014 superbowl win! Everyone yelled Dynasty Baby!!! 2015 they lost the SB and have never been back. I guess 'dynasty' is now defined differently. The way the draft is set up has reduced dynasties considerably. The worst teams get 1st choice of good players and can greatly improve over the next few years.

That's the way the draft has been in the "common era". Essentially the entirety of the modern NFL. Are we to believe dynasties were less than they might have been in the common era? I'd contend that free agency killed dynasties more than draft order.
