They like to root at night a lot and can show up in people's yards. Find grubs and you'll eventually have hogs. If you want to hunt them at this time of year look for wet bottoms. creek beds and places they can lay up and have easy access to foraging. Early in the morning I've seen bands of them in open fields rooting. they're pretty much all over the state except in the west Texas area that's dry.

Stuff is budding and pushing new soft growth everywhere I look and the ground is soft with moisture. Conditions like this can expand the range for pigs as they utilize areas they wouldn’t have had much use for just a couple months ago when everything was bone dry. Wouldn’t be surprised if you saw less activity around feeders and creek bottoms, and started finding pigs in drier sites that may be growing a lot of young soft Forbes and grasses right now.
