Meatloaf and I put quite a few miles on that Monte Carlo. Helluva singer. “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” has gotta be one the best Rock & Roll songs ever made! Meatloaf In The Lockerroom

That Monte Carlo had a factory AM/FM 8 Track. Late 70s early 80s everyone had 8 Tracks.
A buddy of mine had one of those cassette adapters, you could play cassettes in an 8 track player. After he had accumulated enough cassettes, I bought it from him and started buying cassettes.
First one was “Bat Outta Hell”! By the time I had enough cassettes to get a cassette player, I wore that one out! I bought another one, and until I had a CD player that one was starting to ware thin.
Most of these songs bring back a bunch of memories for me. Some of them even agitate my allergies, but I love them all!

Sad they quit doing it to soon.

Ellen Foley did the female vocals on the first release of “Paradise” I can recall.
But Patti Ruso is one helluva singer!
Great voice, and great range as well. (Not hard to look at either)😀
I’ll love Patsy Cline until the day I die, but Id almost bet Miss Ruso is damn near as good.
Marvin’s daughter Pearl is pretty good too.
