Just that. Something with a factory tapped receiver. I’ve never seen one. Thanks, Alan

No.
1940 was the last year Model 99s were cataloged in 30-30. However, a few show up after that. I have an RT (not a cataloged model) made in 1945.

Thanks Jaaack, was curious as back in the old days you could custom order. I don’t know if Savage did that. Cheers, Alan

Never say never.. but I can say they never catalogued it, and they didn't make many if they made any. They would fix older 30-30's.

If I found one in 30/30, I'd certainly jump on one... if they didn't want someone's annual income for it.

As Rory mentioned they would work on older guns, and rechamber them. I’d have to ask when they stopped rechambering. I have a replacement barrel in 22 HP, with a Westfield barrel. So it was made after 1960 and screws right in my 1928 F take down. If I found a 30-30 barrel on a gun too new, I’d check the address and barrel length. All replacement barrels were 24”. It might be an odd duck and not a unicorn. I like odd ducks, they can be way cool, and a lot cheaper than a Unicorn.
I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

We've seen a 1961 factory sheet saying they would convert older (SN 90.000 to 899.999) rifles to 300 Savage, 250-3000, 30-30, 303 Savage, and 22 Hi-Power.
Not any of the 25-35/32-40/38-55 cartridges. We've also seen a 1950's sheet which listed basically the same thing.
