If they made $50 an hour a minimum wage in California, after taxes that would net a person $2.00 an hour, instead of netting 20 cents an hour like now.
another alternative ( a better one I believe ) is just to eliminate taxation period on California... quit welfare, make people get a job, and quit blowing money on every stupid idiot idea their democRAT politicians come up with.. California could finally get by in life...

If raising the min wage also got people out of poverty, we'd simply tell 99% of Africa to "raise the minimum wage and you'll be ok". 80% of NGO's wouldn't need to exist.

My company has gone 95% WFH. It already limits it's hiring to 49 states. Guess which one we will not hire from?
