I'm not too picky as long as it's dark roast and strong. Drip at home, french press at work, and occasionally I'll do percolator when we're camping.

I use the espresso machine. Wife does pour overs and sometimes makes me one. I’m happy to drink whatever is served but we have the machine and I like lattes and americano’s. She grinds Ethiopia sidamo beans for hers.
Life’s short, drink good coffee.

I see Momma pull out the jar of Folgers instant de-caf once each morning. Then she adds 1/4 cup of french vanilla creamer.
That's all I know. I can not stand the the slightest hint of flavor of coffee.

Got rid of my Keurig and went back to a regular coffee maker . I like my coffee too strong and a Keurig doesn't make enough

I like to get whole bean, medium roast of whatever brand and grind as I use it. A Bunn coffeemaker is the best I've found, but I'm pretty pizzed at them. They have 50 cent silicone seal in them that will crack after two or three years and leak. They will not sell you another seal.

I like the Keurig for convenience. But it's not hot enough. At camp I use a percolator.

How long are the Kuerigs lasting for you? We just had one die and think we had it at least 5 years. We bought 2 new ones at a good discount around Christmas and they're a big improvement over the previous one. Hot water instantly and coffee flavor seems better than the old unit.

When Mom passed away last year we sent her Keurig to Goodwill. I'm using a 12 cup Mr. Coffee I bought at my local Goodwill for $10, it looked brand new/unused.

I don't take caffeine very often but my wife likes an espresso drink a few times a week.
She has some sort of machine, a grinder, scales, various tooling she uses to prepare the thing. It is like watching a science experiment.

No issues. In laws are into that Kuerig thing. IIRC they have been through a couple also. I suspect if you used distilled water it would last longer. Who knows what the coffee would be like though. But for coffee I can't tell enough difference between Walmart instant decaf and anything else. well some of the Starbucks instant stuff is strongly gross but I digress. That was at a camp. And unless you put brown sugar and French vanilla creamer in coffee its nasty all around.

Life’s short, drink good coffee. Yes, it is ! Tanzanian Peaberry, or Ethiopian dark roast for us. Grind beans, as needed. Week days, drip. Weekends, Italian espresso percolator (moka pot).
