Just got this. I almost bought a 3rd Gen colt but it didn't compare to the quality of this one. The proof will be in the shooting I guess but so far I'm very impressed. upload images online

I hear they do Colt one better. Also, a little touch is that all the screws on the gun are oriented the same way.

Only way I can figure is to cut metal off the back of the screw heads. That would be a time eater. What I'd like to know is why no one ever blued an entire gun in that fire blue of the old SAA screw heads.

I like their SAAs better than their 1911s; That is one good-looking sixgun. Congratulations.

The standard single action armies all the screws are timed with the barrel and the screws on 1911s are timed vertical with the magazine. I have three of the 1911s and two of the single action armies, I can't find any pictures of the single actions I'll have to take some.

I bought mine a few years ago. Great shooter. I recently had Alan Harton restock it and asked him to check the hardness of the internals while it was apart. All were spot on at 45 RC. He commented that it was very finely made.

I'd like to get my SAA some nice walnut stocks fitted to it. How much does it cost?
