Ok, any powder then. What velocity are you loading too?

Not a PRC, but close! My favourite 7RM load is 69grains of H1000 ( AR 2217 here) with 160/162 g bullets of various flavours, mag primer, giving 2960 to 2980 f/s (depending which bullet). ADI lists 70 grains as max at a mild 49,600 CUP. Draw you own conclusions! Cheers, Jack

Every time the 7mm PRC is asked about, guys feel the need to bring up their 7mm RM's! Lol!
Absolutely nothing against the 7mm Rem Mag, have/had quite a few of them. 7mm-08, 7x57, 284 Win too...
I just loaded up some 174gr Hammer Hunter Tipped and 190gr Berger Hybrid's with H1000 for my 7mm PRC (Fierce CT Rage with a 24" 1:8 CF barrel) but haven't shot them yet. Will be soon though and will share results afterwards.

Thank you. I have some 180 gr Scenars loaded with up to 68 grs of H1000. Still have not gotten to the range.

Just got my PRC a few weeks ago. 700 action 26” Bart 8” twist. Haven’t chrono’d it yet but “swagging” the velocity with my ballistic app is about 2875-2900. My rifle showed pressure w 180 ELDM at 66 hr H1000 so I’ve been tweaking the load at 65.0. Watching the bullet fly out through my spotting scope it’s quite a bit flatter shooting than my 300 shooting 230’s. A lot less recoil also. I’ve got a feeling a lotta $[bleep] is going to get shot waaaay out there w this one! I’ve got a box of 180 scenars I’ll try next but it’s shooting 5 into about 3/8” now so I’m not in a rush. SPR put it together. They’ve got a 3rd rifle of mine now turning it into a 25x47L.

LOL, heavens no Aussiejack! It's just every time a 7mm PRC question is asked here, it's 7mm Rem Mag that gets brought up, that's all.
