Much obliged FA.. You sprung some good ideas.

I'm with Sherm on this one. Redding body die. I'll used either a bushing die or collet die to size the neck. Then a Wilson / Sinclair seating die. However I haven't purchased a press for the Wilson seating die, I just use my bench top drill press. I think I've only got 1 micrometer for the seating die - and that one works on all the seaters. Micrometer is not needed, but a lot less expensive if you want to save some dollars. Plus, I don't believe you can find a better seating die than the Wilson / Sinclair seater.

I tried them when they came out. Didn’t love it myself. Great idea but it’s too much goofing around between different cartridges for me. Not a bad piece of kit but having seaters set up for each case is easier for me. Some may like how it works though.

I agree. I use Forster seaters but that one looks like a good idea for a small time loader looking to improve his seating over the std seater dies in a FL dies set without spending a big gob of cash. Young guys (with young families) getting into the game don't always have a lot of extra cash for toys. BTDT.

I might buy one for the cartridges that I can't get a Forster for.

They must be really awesome if BS uses them.

Yes sir. They’re good quality. I gave mine to my FIL since he loads for more limited numbers than I.

Haven’t used one of these personally. But from everything I can tell from reading and pics, it’s a very close approximation of the RCBS Matchmaster Seater.

I’ve got lots of micro seater dies most pretty well used. Years ago Forster Bonanza pretty much owned that market for screw dies. But the best by a long ways are Wilson or Neal Jones in my opinion. If there is a difference I can’t tell. But of course with hand dies really only one moving part, not a lot of linkage so bore axis and thread play is a non issue. But it’s slower, you’ll need a small hand die press ( not expensive ) and I’m thinking a Dillion may be faster.

Just another take on the RCBS competition seater. RCBS never offered the sleeves and stem as separate items although the die bodies were all the same. A 22.250 could be used for 220 Swift by getting rid of the extended shell holder. 308/30.06 same deal.
