You can make up your own mind if she is being honest or not.
First words out of her mouth were that she has always supported the 2A and the right to bear arms. How?? She was raised in schitthole Hawaii, a state WAY out in the Pacific Ocean and isolated from the rest of America. She needs to be immersed in 2A activities on the mainland so she can see for herself just how deprived and brainwashed she was being raised in Hawaii with it's anti-gun state .gov
She needs to work on it some more for my support.

I don’t fully buy her 2A stance 100% either but I can’t think of any politicians that I do truly trust to be a 2A advocate. Trump included.
VP picks are mostly selected as running mates that fill a media role. Once in office high level cabinet positions carry a whole lot more weight than the VP. Gabbard thinks for herself more than most politicians and would be great in a VP role IMO.
I do understand that people's perspectives and positions can and sometimes should evolve with maturity and experience. However, I would be very guarded in accepting everything she says today as being her rock solid position. It wasn't that long ago she had quite different rock solid positions on a few things and openly supported the DemocRATS. Now, she has seen the light? Well, I do hope so and I do welcome her, but I would keep a close eye on her.

IF she's being truthful about her thought processes - I applaud her becoming more "Constitutionalist" in her thinking. I sincerely hope she IS being truthful - as I could vote for her, assuming she convinces me of that mindset. Just a bit too soon for me to make that leap.

Choosing a VP is of more consequence when the President is 80 versus a President that is 50 or 60. Of course the best outcome is a two term President that has the pulling power to have his VP elected. Reagan did it, and I guess in an truncated way Obama did as well.

I like her "broad based" response. I'll take it.
Thanks for posting that interview Calvin.
I have always seen Gabbard as authentic, even before she went right. And she has been 100% consistent on her antiwar message. She was one of the first and I give her credit for that.
I do see value in an antiwar person like Gabbard in Trump's administration. UN Ambassador?
IMHO, if she were ever appointed UN Ambassador, her first speech should be:
The UN is being shut down in the USA and this building and property will be reprioritized to focus on preserving the lives and rights of American citizens. Return to your homes in your country of origin. This meeting is adjourned. That is all. Goodbye.
Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.
Is she being ruthlessly attacked by the MSM as of late?
How bout The View, have those brain dead idiots taken her to the woodshed yet?

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.
