What do you do when you get behind someone like me? Our Interstate speed limit is 75, I drive about 70 to 73. When I overtake an 18 wheeler going slightly slower than me I will kick it up to about 76 or 77 but it takes a little while to get around if there are 2 of them.

If there's a fatty or cheap brewskis at the end of that 80 MPH zone waiting....You're damn straight I'd be doing 110.

A mans gotta have his priorities, and dignity.

The article says 101 MPH, by the way. That's too slow when a 400 pounder is in the mood.

Only place I really let the car get unleashed is on Hwy 50. Some of those 5 mile long straights with not another car in sight for miles. Just me if anything goes pear shaped..

So yeah, 101 on a freeway, with $6M of contraband, not the tiniest bit likely.

We live in a remote region of Oregon. I'd venture half of the mule busts out here are a product of speeding. Not the sharpest knives in the drawer, or maybe the landscape is going by in slow motion.

He was probably nervous because whoever actually owned the meth will be a wee perturbed that his stupidity got their stash pitched. Instead of making a big display of it they should have bugged the shipment, put a ankle bracelet on this dumbie and followed him top his appointment. Let the actual problem take care of this guy and bust the remaining individuals.

Who says it got pitched? Like the "Volstead Act" enforcers used to do during Prohibition, the vast majority of it probably just got delivered to a different receiver. Maybe a token amount got turned in as "evidence", possibly drastically reduced in strength. Those guys eventually became the ATF, because Hoover didn't want them in the FBI once prohibition got repealed.

I don’t haul anything illegal, but I did one time , daylight, no traffic, on I80 in Montana, set the cruise control at 100!
I was making pretty good time, Penny was sleeping, we were headed back to Culbertson. Me and Waylon was cruising along doing duets.😀
She woke up and caught us! She wasn’t impressed at all when the glanced over at the speedo.🤬
I slipped it back to 85, and she finally fell asleep again.
I was a good boy after that.😳

I certainly hope that if you're going 70-73 in a 75 zone that you're doing it in the right lane.

He ded when the cartel boss finds out.

About the only place I open up like that is on I-80 across the salt flats and even then, I don’t run at 110. You can get away with 90 tho as there’s always some rabbit going faster to flush out the UHP.

The object is not to shut the drug trade down but to show us suckers paying the bill to pat Leo on the back.

Shutting the drug.and human trafficking schiett show down is real easy. Just ask Xi.

60 in a 30 on a city street is a lot more sportier than 110 in an 80 on a highway.
