I took the hard plates out of my carrier and replaced them with cans of sardines.
Also, the plates were too heavy for my kids so they got replaced with plywood in their carriers.
If you fall behind during a bug out drill....you are considered lost.
In EVOO or the ones in mustard?
And was it real plywood or that MDF or OSB type stuff.

Not hardly my intent. With enemies all around us my intention is to provide whatever safety I can provide to get them the hell out of here. It has NOTHING to do with fighting and everything to do about my responsibility to my family.
My 11 year has taken a huge interest in airsoft. I went and played with him at an indoor field. The guys we were playing with were very serious about it and had all k8nds of protectively gear. It's made me take an interest in getting plate carriers, plates and other armor for myself and my family. I've just started learning about it and there are tons of options and lots to know.
I have guns and ammo but I don't have any of the tactical gear. My goal this year is to figure out armor and tactical clothing. I've got a lot to learn before making my purchases. I'm convinced things are going to get a lot worse before they're going to get better. I need to do more to prepare.
