I'm lined up for 6 AM on the 14th of March.

I'm opting for full vision lens.
Anyone had the cataract sugary, and how did it go?

Great procedure that’ll change your life for the better. Takes about 15 minutes per eye.

Use your follow up eye drops religiously. Don’t neglect this.

Depends on how bad your cataracts are. For me it was almost like night and day. Good luck with yours.

I'll guess like the old boiling frog, the change for the worst was so slow, I don't know how bad my eye sight is.

No fears. I put it off too long and my shooting and night driving was really starting to suffer. Less than 1/2 hour on the slab and done. Just do the follow-up/recovery protocols to a T and you'll kick yourself for not doing it sooner.

Put an "r" in there and replace your "a".
I've had both eyes done, great to have good vision again, just like in my youth.

For me after it was done, everything was whiter and brighter. I’ve said before it was like going from a room lit by a 100 watt incandescent bulb to one lit by a 150 watt fluorescent tube or an LED.

Do the drops as directed….lots of bad things happen if you don’t.

Wife did.
I didn't.
Her eyes were pretty bad. For years, she searched for a procedure that would address the problem with one eye. NOBODY would touch it.

SUDDENLY.....a doctor told her, "No problem! We can fix that!"
After years of waiting and frustration, procedures became available to address her specific malady!
She still has to wear "cheaters" to read, but it's not heavy glasses every waking hour....or those cursed "contacts"!
Myself, I qualified for cataract surgery, but my vision is still correctable with glasses. I chose glasses. Besides, I needed hip surgery! 🤷‍♂️

Just got one eye done two weeks ago. Going for my other eye in the morning. Like someone said - difference between a low watt incandescent yellow light bulb and a bright white LED bulb. My biggest challenge has been my dominant eye needing corrective lens and my new eye not. Use the drops and follow the doc's instructions.

Had it done 3 times after my prior Lasix surgery. Did the single vision, focus at 4 ft for Computer screen use.. The vision improvement was great, but I had a torn retina after, required laser repair. All surgery has a risk factor, mine was the sudden pressure change resulted in a complication which was repairable. 90% have no issue and the surgeons do a couple dozen at a time.

I am between eyes. The left eye is next.

1) Vivity AcrySof IQ Vivity lens for the cataracs.
2) Trabeculectomy bleb for the glaucoma.

I had it done in August. They weren't "ripe" yet - so I paid out of pocket. Wish I had done it years ago!
20/15 left eye - 20/20 right eye, now.
My complaints - didn't fix my color blindness laugh and I still need readers for ultra small print very small correction, though - 1.0.

Overall, I love it!

If you weren't told - some "fuzziness" will be there, but goes away later. Mostly gone in 6 months, so don't worry, give it time.
