Considering building an AR-10 in 6.5 creed and have been researching 20" barrels for accuracy. Currently, I'm down to a proof research carbon fiber barrel and a Krieger spiral fluted barrel.
Some weight reduction is a strong consideration for me.
Question: Which would you all prefer and why??
Thank you

I just picked up a Ballistic Advantage .223 barrel a couple of days ago. I already have 2 BA barrels. Here is a 20" fluted 6.5 Creedmoor. It says it's a heavy .308 profile and it weighs 59.5 ounces. The standard non fluted barrel in this profile weighs 66 ounces. Ballistic Advantage barrels are owned by Aero Precision and appear on many of their uppers.

Putting a BSF on mine, that's who makes the barrels for carbon fiber Weatherby rifles. I've got on of theirs on a 224 Valkyrie and its is absolutely lights out accurate so far. The 6.5 20 inch BSF that I have weighs 35.3 ounces. Should have it together by this weekend to go test out.

Me as well, an 18” pencil with rifle length gas and a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block.

I have a ballistic advantage 18" Hansen 6.5 Creedmoor on an aero m5. I've function tested it but haven't had it in a good bench to see what it'll do yet.
