Title is an attempt to limit scammers. I'm looking for a LH Ruger M77 MK II stainless/laminate in a non-magnum chambering. If anyone has one they are willing to part with, please PM me. I let my guard down once on here and got scammed and it will not happen again, so the process may be a bit lengthy to verify it's legit.

Not willing to part with mine, but somewhat odd that I've got to a T what you're describing. Mine is in 30.06 that I had improved. It's a favorite for me to carry in the field, and pushes 180 grain bullets at 2900. Good luck in your search, and here's a free bump to the top.

I can understand why you wouldn't want to part with it! Certainly next to impossible to replace! Enjoy it!!

I managed to pick up a nice LH Ruger M77 MK II stainless/laminate in December on GunBroker at a good price for a project I was working on. But it was a 7mm Rem Mag so it was not a non-magnum like you are looking for. In the last month they’ve had four rifles that met your criteria sell on that site. So you might want to check there occasionally. While not real common (there’s none currently for sale), they do appear regularly. Usually in 25-06 or 30-06.

I have a .25-06, .270 and .300WM that are all M77 Mark II Hawkeyes, stainless laminates. They'll be the last guns I part with.
The .25-06 is probably the most accurate rifle I own.

The .25-06 is probably the most accurate rifle I own. I came really close to buying a LH Ruger in 25-06 on more than one occasion but never did it. Some other purchase always took priority. I had a high level of confidence that I would have gotten some good usage out of one if I had ever made the purchase. I wanted something that shot fast & flat but eventually got a LH Cooper in 22-250 instead. Not a bad alternative for my intended usage.

As much as I love my .25-06, I've gravitated to my MRC .260rem, 20", suppressed for shooting deer and most stalking. With Barnes 120gr. TTSX bullets, it just seems to be perfect for meat hunting with minimal blood shot meat. Plus it's lighter. When you handle the .25-06 and the .300WM, they feel identical with the same barrel contour and length.
The .270 is a nice light compact gun though and is also a great shooter. I'm real happy with all 3, but I frequently move between favorites for whatever reason.

Here’s an alternative. Gunsinternational under left hand rifles. Just listed today. A Winchester M70 in .270 win with a Leupold scope appears to be a 3-9x50 for $900. In todays market, it’s a steal. It’s walnut and blued steel.

Been looking for the same rifle as the OP. It will be the donor for a 9.3x62 build. Should have never sold the one I used to own.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I had JES rebore a stainless MK II to 9.3x62 from a 30-06. That has become the rifle I usually grab when I go out of town.

I also prefer the MK II to the hawkeye, and am indeed looking for a donor to have JES rebore to 35 whelen. The first bolt rifle I ever bought was one of these in 7RM and I foolishly sold it years ago. Recently I was able to pick another up in 7RM for a steal at $700! It had some issues with surface cracks in the stock, rust spotting on the rings from blued hardware (weird on stainless rings) and a creepy trigger. Sent it in to Ruger and 10 days later received it back in better than new condition with the LC6 trigger in it, new rings, and a flawless stock (refinished) for $100!! Can't beat Rugers customer service. This is why I'm looking for this specific rifle to have the 35 Whelen done in. Plus it will match my 7RM, Ruger made Marlin 1895 SBL .45-70, and 2 Gp100 .357's in stainless with grey lam grips. While the Win M70 is a good option, it doesn't fit my criteria and I have no doubt their customer service would pale in cmparison to Rugers if I needed it.
