There was a dog musher (this was decades ago- maybe late 70's or 80's) he won the "I did a rod" one time, close a few other times, his son ran it a few years after he quit. He lived near Clam Gulch, or just south of there. He was famous for saying, "There is plenty of time to rest when your dead".
I am trying to remember his name.
This is a long shot, maybe (very maybe) first name Dean, maybe last name start with O (like Ozmore)

ALASKA is a "HARD COUNTRY for OLDMEN". (But if you live it wide'ass open, balls'to the wall, the pedal floored, full throttle, it is a delightful place, to finally just sit-back and savor those memories while sipping Tequila).

Have you always been a jackass, or did something happen to you to cause you go off the deep end?

"........There was a fleeting thought that this may be it........"

Those kinds of "fleeting" thoughts tend to be pretty memorable if one actually survives. Good thing they stayed focused on living and let that thought fleet along. Been there in a near drowning and miraculous recovery. I clearly remember thinking in amazement that my life was going to end in a drowning, and the panic instantly changing to a feeling of surprise. Then, immediately after that moment, I was released.........

This is a wonderful story since not a single life was lost. It is literally being born again.

Thanks for the link.

I just figured her for a drunk but it’s possible that her syphilis has taken a turn towards insanity.

It’s always interesting when one has nothing but bitterness and insults to “contribute”, it says far more about the miserable life they’ve carved out for themselves than it does about the individual they’re trying to disparage.

Maybe her daddy didn’t pay enough attention to her?…..in this case though I suspect her daddy paid too much attention to her.

Loputz is, has been, and always will be, a waste of Oxygen, water, and band width. May she never breed!
