4-year-old grandson asked me to make him a poop sandwich, I'm like WTF is a poop sandwich? He took me to the pantry opened it and handed me a jar of Nutella, lol. I had to inform him he was all out of poop.

I'd rather nutella than peanut butter. at least it has chocolate in it, right

I guess so but no one around here except Oliver likes it.

I'm going to be busy for the next 15 or so years, this boy needs me to raise him as well as his dad, he's really smart wants to go fishing, and loves being outdoors, but hates being inside. he he even carries snails and pill bugs/rollie pollies around in his pockets. The best part is my son has full custody.

Never met your grandson but I'm already a friend!

Tell him a poop sandwich is like life itself. The more bread you have, the less poop you've got to eat, valuable life lesson.

Then take him fishing.

That's great, Roger. Gives you and your son the chance to bring him up right.

My wife’s out of town, so I packed the kid’s lunches this morning. Gave them the choice of a tin of sardines and a sleeve of saltines or a Poop sandwich for lunch.
Once I told them what a poop sandwich was I was told that they like their poop sandwiches with sliced bananas and they call it a monkey sandwich.

Not a fan of Nutella, even a little bit. I'd rather be hungry

Gotta go with peanut butter.

Had a platoon SGT in the USARMY that told us once in front of a formation, that if any of us ever made him eat a sh*t sandwich for something we did. He would guarantee we would get the same treatment, but on a paper plate and no bread

Good on you and his Dad, Roger!
Sounds like a future Hunter / Fisherman in the Family! Very fitting with your Family Name, too!
I’ll pass on the Nuttella, though. I love peanut butter.

Horned Toads are a pretty rare sight in TX, nowadays.
Though they were everywhere when Roger and I were growing up in TX in the 1960’s.
I rarely ever see one at the Ranch anymore. Maybe one or two a year if I’m lucky.
TX Parks & Wildlife and TAMU has tried some breeding programs restock and reintroduction studies.
Don’t know how successful they’ve been, though.
I think the demise of the red ant colonies/ beds has a lot to do with it, as they were one of the horned toads main food sources.
