Any recommendations for a dedicated set of truck binos costing $250 or less? I have better glass but don't want to leave my Swaros or Vortex in my truck all the time. Something 7x or 8x with decent low light ability?

I keep a set of Nikon 10x25s in my truck at all times. They don't make them any more but if you find a set they are really good.

Leica 8X that I bought from Doug's place. If I remember correctly they were between $400 and $500. They help a lot now that my eyes are 70years old.

Just like what I hunt with. Leupold BX3 Mojave, 8x32's. You may be able to find a used set on ebay? I have a couple pair. One that always stays in the truck.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

If they are stolen I will not lose a lot of sleep, over them. I wish more binoculars were made with as blaze orange coating.

The Sightron big sky 8x32 is my truck, football game, archery binoculars. But I have a bad habit of picking up cheap decent binoculars & keeping them in cars, Rangers, or giving them to grandkids. Binoculars that were $200 20 years ago & now go for $30 delivered on eBay. If dissatisfied I’ll put them back for sale.

Rollerroll is a scammer account and was outed here back in 2017. I bet he’s answering WTB ads again and has what you need! This confidence building post was lifted from another site: Link to when he was scamming in 2017: https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/12286180/2

Pentas 8x42 DCF HR ll - they are amazingly good for their price range.

They are a bit more than $250, but Kowa BDII 6.5x32XD is what lives in my vehicle. Steiner Navigator 7x30 is in another.
Kowa, for its size, is quite remarkable.

I have 2002 model Steiner Predators in my truck. 10x42’s. I don't have much occasion to use them riding around everyday. But they are there in the compartment under the front seat armrest. They are slightly less expensive these days. I think they were $600/700 back then.

WyCoyote I have the 8x32 ZR's and was very pleased with how well dielectric coatings work on roof binoculars. Up till then I was a big advocate of porros. For my truck- 6x30 Yosemites in a cushy center counsel.

Pentax 8x32. Their pretty rough, that’s why they get to bounce around in the truck. I also won’t be heartbroken if they are stolen.

Some of us might place a bigger value on Truck Binos simply because we use binos daily from the truck.
I live in a place where I use the binos in my truck every day so those are my best binos. I do take a truck gun or 2 in when done driving but clearing all the optics out of the truck each time is a bit much.
Maven 18X56mms with window mount are always in the truck unless I am using them out of the truck.
Vortex 5000HDs and or Zeiss LRF binos are always in the truck, many times both. Swaro HD spotting scope pretty much always in the truck.
I don't have much of a theft issue to deal with in very rural Wyoming so my truck binos/optics choices might be different than those in a more urban environment.
John Burns
I have all the sources. They can't stop the signal.
