Good on everyone here for keeping an eye open for the scams that tend to keep showing up. It's easy for someone who doesn't know to get caught in one, hopefully this saved a member from losing money.

Amen! Several things caused me concern when add first popped up...not thoroughly used...hunting deers...reticle advertised did not match pic of box. Thanks to all who may have saved the day for some trusting soul. My guess he or she is from across the pond. Sad we can't trade without such Intruders. Of course if he meets with Kentucky mountain man n proves legit I retract statement n sincerely apologise. Until then...

My guess is that he's "nigerian".... he'd be a good 3-D target.

The MO is always the same. A quick review of his post will tell you everything. The scammers have figured out that low post count and super cheap pricing will throw up a red flag. While 1400.00 isnt a terrible price, its not a complete steal either which is how they usually operate. They're evolving. Wha they havent figured out is that normal people dont join a site and post random comments in some of the most obscure subforums on the site. Look at his previous posts, they are all over the place.
