I’m not a Mauser guy first off. These were an impulse buy. But I love the calibers. Only reason for selling is my wife’s eye surgery and meds.
284 Winchester
6.5x55 Swede. Both with amazing wood and great metal, and both functions like they should. Model 98 is what I was told. I have plenty of pictures.
700.00 each obo.
I shot the 284 for hunting season and it shoots great. I just bought ammo for the Swede so haven’t shot it yet. No scope with either gun but I have bases and rings for the 284. The 284 was made in the 70’s by flaigs firearms in Pittsburgh pa. If I’m wrong on the model please correct me.
Pics up soon.

Without having better photos, they appear to be Mauser Model 94 or 96. Are they cock on close or cock on open?

The mileage you'd get out of a tank of very good photos would be far beyond exceptional.

What does the crest say on the front of the action. Also if you pull the bolts are either flat on the bottom up front?

Cock on close id definitely a small ring, short action which includes Models 93-95 & Models 94-96. I'mfairly certain that both yours are the 94-96.

Bolt is not flat on bottom front. It’s round.

I'm assuming with the pics the swede is first, the 284 second? The first group of pics it appears the the chrest is Husky which should be a 96 and would make sense for the swede. Second rifle is hard to tell, but flaigs typically used 98s.

You are correct sir from what I am seeing. The Swede I’m pretty sure is a 96 as the 95 was mostly 7.5x57 calibers. The 284 is stamped 98 by flaigs and probably a Douglas barrel for that’s what they used.

I’m looking for a 308 in trade on either Mauser. No American or axis. Lever or bolt.
