Just that.

My father was a Scotch drinker and both my younger brothers are Scotch aficionados but I’m a Bourbon and rye guy myself. I could drink Scotch if that was all that was available but I’ll never give advice about it😁

Had to Google it. No seems like the latest foolishness that some Einstein pulled out of his ass and sold to a bunch of sheep on the inter webs.

Do not have one, never heard of it until now. Don't see the need. I am an equal opportunity Scotch drinker, but cannot drink the Islays and do not understand how anyone can. If you are looking for interesting blended Scotch, Compass Box is your huckleberry.

No, I don't run an infinity bottle. My scotch tastes are very binary. I sip The Macallun, and I drink Scoresby. Mixing the two makes no sense whatever.
Frequently I'll get a single malt as a gift. However, I prefer to enjoy those as come. It's usually an occasion (like the opening of Deer Camp), and it gets passed around and seldom makes it back home.

Interesting, had never heard of this but have thought of doing it at times when looking at several bottles of whiskey with only a few ounces in each.
I think I would tend toward a separate bottle for each type, one for scotch, one for bourbon, one for rye.
As it is, it no longer matters, as I stopped consuming alcohol last May. (A-fib episode, cardiologist said alcohol induced, was confident that if I quit drinking alcohol I’d never have it again so I did and (so far) I haven’t.) Too bad, really liked my whiskey (and my beer and my wine) so now I just look at all my partial bottles of whiskey with longing.
On the up side I sleep better, feel better, have lost weight and saved a bunch of money.
