Hanco I have had the same thought....several times.....and failed each time. This year has seen 2 B78's and a Browning Safari grade. How dumb is this, one of the B78's is a 6MM the Safari Grade is a 243 I need AAA for rifles

I just added another 243 a Kimber Super America. Once again the 12 step program has failed me

First was a Savage 116 in 25-06, it worked but was a POS. Most recently a Springfield Waypoint in 6.5CM, love this rifle!

Poached a Yearling with an M1 Carbine, first legal was my prized Mod 94 Classic Carbine I bought on time at 16! My so-called "last" (lol) is a pristine 80's Mod 70 FWT with a 25" Shilen barrel in 7x57. Well....now my "last" is a Model 700 BDL SS in 264WM, 26" barrel. For slipping around in the woods, either of my Mountain rifles (Mark V ULWT/Kimber 8400) are as snappy as my old Mod 94 Classic with its octagon barrel.

First two bucks with a 1955 Remington 760 in 244. My last two bucks last month fell to my 1955 M70 Featherweight 30/06. Everyone knows killing a deer with a 244 is impossible because it’s got a slow twist.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

If it was my bullet that killed this one, then it was a $5 Mauser 98 7.92x57. with issue sights - Norma ammo. This was the first deer I ever shot at. It ran 50 yards all down hill. The next one would have been with a '03 Springfield with a K4 scope, either with cast bullets or 180 grain core lokts. I hope I’ve not shot my last one.

While my first deer fell to my dad's Winchester Model 94 30-30 (which I still have).
My first deer rifle was a 1975 Remington Model 700 BDL 30-06 that I bought new (my dad did the paperwork).
My latest was picked up today, one of the Lipsey Ruger M77 Hawkeye "African" in 35 Whelen. I'm going to mount a Zeiss Conquest 2.5-8X32mm with a plex reticle and call it good.

Marlin 336 30-30. Tikka T3 lite 6.5...its for sale in the classifieds because I found out they make the same rifle with a shorter barrel

First deer fell to my old ‘94 .30 WCF. given to me by my Grandma in 1965. My most recent by the up-dated more modern equivalent; a Rem. Model 7 in 7mm-08. Both are real handy.

First rifle was a sporterized US Model 1917 Enfield (Eddystone) 30-06, which I still have. It was my dad's.
The last rifle I acquired was a Kimber Mountain Ascent 308 Win.

First rifle was Winchester Model 94 30-30 from my mother when she passed (I was 15). Now, at 85, have a custom Remington 7mm-08.
Talk is cheap - except when Congress does it.
Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take an ass whoopin'
