I doubt Musk will add to the campaign treasure chest, due to him owning X and Tesla, the fallout for not being politically neutral would be too large. His Space X program and AI interests will drive the near future, and he's a quirky guy depending on the day of the week.

My thoughts would be possible election oversight in a manner I cannot begin to fathom. That would be my hope, that he can leverage Musk's tech resources to watch for cheating and interference. We know it happens but it can be hidden, erased or just denied far too easily unless a neutral third party is watching. Actually, anything of that sort would be and has been blatantly denied even with clear evidence but at least X could provide one more voice to counteract the Official Ministry of Propaganda.
