Fewer things that can go wrong…

Or backups for just in case…

I’ve had 2 Vortex red dots that I got already on guns I traded for and I waited for those to fail but they never did before I replaced them anyway.

I used to shoot with some guys that bought Chinese knockoff C-mores. They finally figured out they needed to glue the lense in after they fell out. They still use them. These are guys that travel to matches everywhere.

I try to buy the best I can afford but I have been very impressed with the Holosuns I have. But to be sure I have useable BUIS’s on my pistols and even on my AR’s whether it’s Aimpoints on top or Sig’s.

But all the mechanical or electronic stuff is meaningless if one doesn’t get out and practice, train and learn from those better than we are.

I can see a dot and shoot accurately without prescription eyewear. I can’t see irons very well without prescription eyewear. Pretty easy decision to have a dot on all pistols including carry….

I’ve had an RMRCC on a Kobra carry for about 20 months, haven’t had to change battery (though I should) and haven’t had any issues
