It’s hard to understand why they didn’t incorporate into other states

Mom and Dad are Oklahoma refugees - moved here in 1950. I was born a few years later. Have been here all my life except for a professional assignment in Europe.

Everything is bigger here - women’s hair, boobs, bellies, our mouths, and our egos.

There are places I would like to see outside of Texas. There are majestic sites outside of Texas. There are greater hunting opportunities outside of Texas. Texas has seen its share of armed conflicts.

But, Texas is not to be messed with & there is no place I’d rather be than Texas.

My favorite part of TX was the part everyone else said sucked. San Angelo area. Little to no people. Perfect. WAY better than San Antonio.

I was born in Lubbock. Early years I spent out there in the vicinity of Idalou (my family were farmers). I lived and worked in East Texas for a good bit in the vicinity of Tyler during my younger adulthood. I later lived and worked in Southeast Texas for a good bit as well in the Clear Lake area. My favorite areas in Texas are the Hill Country and the Guadalupe Mountains. Fished and hunted more than at any time in my life when I lived in the southeast part of the state (my house was in Brazoria County).
