Last year I bought several firearms and have yet to shoot a few of them. With taxes and other expenses coming up it is time to thin the herd and this is the first to go!
Up for your consideration is a Ruger GP-100 chambered in .44 Special, model number 01761. I believe this was a Lipsey's special run from 2017 and has long been discontinued. This double-action revolver features satin stainless steel construction, 5-shot non-fluted cylinder, 3" full-lug barrel, removable green fiber optic front sight and adjustable white outline rear sight.
I bought this gun from the original owner who described it 'as-new and unfired' and have never shot it. Overall the gun rates 99% with minor handling wear and a light turn ring on the cylinder as shown. The gun originally came with black Hogue monogrips but the previous owner swapped those for Ruger rubber grips with checkered rosewood inserts. The original grips are gone but it does include the factory plastic case with takedown pin and paperwork. Note the pistol prop rod is not included, otherwise what you see is what you get.
This would make a perfect woods & trail gun and is most comparable to the venerated 5-shot S&W 696 chambered in .44 Special. If needed I can take more photos, just let me know if you want to see something specific. Asking $850 shipped from my FFL to your FFL. Not interested in any trades. Cross-posted so first time stamp gets it. Thanks for looking!
Bump up for a sweet revolver.I bought one of these a short while ago and it has become a favorite, Mine was fired (very little) and the same price. Someone need's to buy this. Karl
