Swafa scopes
Don’t know anything about these scopes so do the turrets lock into place ?
My concern is hunting and getting in and out of vehicle and possibly moving turrets

Turrets do not lock. I wouldn’t let that scare you away from these scopes - it’s not easy to twist the turrets accidentally.

Edit. My bad. I was talking about the Bushnell and not the SWFA.


I have one of these scopes. (the Bushnell) The turrets do not lock in place. I sight in my rifle and then reset the turrets tops back to zero. I simply recheck the turret to make sure it is on the zero before shooting again. The turrets tops come off with a 3/32d Allen wrench. Lift them off and reset them then screw them back down. Mine has been on several rifles. When I have a rifle that I just can't seem to get it to shoot, this is my "known good scope". I put it back on a rifle just yesterday. I took it to the range this morning and it helped me find a load that works.

I'll keep it on this rifle until I find the "perfect" scope for this rifle. I'll take it off and it will set in the locker until I need it next.

I have a SWFA and dam good scope for the money. I think I had mine when first come out and still use it, its reliable.
