The ones with exposed turrets , do they lock in place or is it possible to move the zero getting them in and out of vehicle ?

No lock.
Never had an issue with them moving though

No lock but in about 10 years (it seems) that it's been on my rifle, never moved if I didn't grab and move it myself.

They’re pretty stiff, but you can always put some tape on them…….

Thanks , Kenneth For those you asked about in the Classifieds, while not a locking turret a zero stop can be fashioned from two flat hose washers.

I'm still hopeful for the "new models for 2024" but they've been out of stock so long I'm not sure how they are staying in business...

Yeah , I looked an hour or so ago and the 6 power was out of stock .
The 6 is what Id like to have , but I guess we can’t have everything

Some models are coming in 2024, though probably not all. I have one of the first production 10x42 scopes on hand at the moment.
